Turnstall petition action - Nov 29th (Stoke-on-Trent)

We're off to parliament 29th Nov, virgin trains have decide to take all cheap tickets off commuting trains so prob have to go by car.

From the Public Inquiry the inspector and secretary of state, decided that Stoke-on-Trent council were not providing equally advantageous exchange public open space, to that which they where taking away for the bypass.

On the 29th November a special parliamentary committee will begin, looking into this fact and deciding whether stoke-on-Trent council can go above the law of the land and build on public open space without providing any in return.

We as petitions have to prove the law of the land should be upheld, in the past 40 odd years only 2 SPP have been passed.

So if we fail it could set a precedent for other council to build on public open space with out providing exchange land.
