Cedars Wood raid (Manchester)

A camp has been set up to stop Manchester Airport PLC cutting down trees at Cedars Wood. A few days ago nearly 30 cops raided the camp without a warrant and arrested 5 people and nicked off with boltcroppers and tools (replacements most welcome!).

More people are needed to keep the two camps going, local support is still strong. There is a stay of execution till October when the House of Lords will make their decision. A party is planned for June 21st.
