The M4 relief road - £320 million worth of six lane motorway through 5 Sites of Special Scientific Interest within the internationally important Gwent Levels - is still in the Welsh roads programme, pending an announcement later in the year, making it the most expensive and destructive road planned for anywhere in the UK
