FASLANE FUN

What do you do if you are due appear in Helensburgh District Court to explain why you had not paid fines for anti-Trident actions? Well if you are Marjan and Zoe from Faslane Peace Camp, you cut into Faslane naval base, climb a 15 meter high lighting mast at one of the shipping berths and drop a banner reading: "Trident Subs Threaten The World." You then wait a few hours, with a Ministry of Defence dog at the bottom of the mast, while they try to work out how to get you down. They did eventually go along to the court that afternoon, where Zoe was given another 7 days to pay while Marjan was sent straight to prison.
