E roralmente escrito em contraponto a duas vozes, com muito poucos pontos de repouso tonal e contendo a proeza de as vozes segiurem um caminho paralelo, nem sempre concordante, mais no entranto sem chocarem na direccao do fraseado quase independente. O subtitulo e elucidativo: a procura do meu final. Se o Da Capo faz completo sentido, o mesmo nao se pode afirmar do final, que resulta completamente inconclusivo, obrigando o interprete, tal como no Klangbild 10, a criar recursos para resolver este problema." [an approximate, fairly literal translation from the Portugese into English] "Being the second part of this work that has a subtitle, this Klangbold is possible more demanding in terms of interpretation, without however having technical difficulties, [such as are found] in this collection of pieces. It is all written as counterpoint in two voices, with very few tonal resting points and it keeps the voices following a parallel path, not always in harmony, but at the same time not conflicting with the direction of the almost independent phrasing. The subtitle is elucidative: the search for an end. If Da Capo makes sense, the same cannot be said of the end, which is completely inconclusive, forcing the interpreter, as in Klangbild 10, to find creative ways of solving the problem." [from the notes accompanying the sheet music - Carlo Domeniconi] "Sound figures are a series of small musical pieces indicating forms which as well are to be found in more complex compositions. Therefore they are not to be understood as fragments or sketches but as 'Images' or 'Figures' preparing most efficiently - because of their shortness and technical facility - the later playing of more complex works." "...although the pieces are very easy to play, they demand a lot of control over dynamic and sound, so there is quite a lot to learn from this work." (Norbert Neunzling) As is indicated by the sub-title ("Search for an end"), it is left to the performer to decide where to end the piece. The MIDI follows the Norbert Neunzling reference video, which after returning to the start, ends on the first beat of measure 13 (the interval A-A). The sheet music does not have a key signature or a time signature, but the piece is centered around A minor and appears to be in 2/2 time. === - length of note, duration (note held) bpm - beats per minute D.C. - Da Capo - return to the start of the piece ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the latest version of this tab can be found at http://www.classtab.org if you come across any mistakes please let me know - weed@wussu.com
