BREWERY FIELDS (BANGOR) EVICTION STILL IMMINENT
meeting with council tonight 9th July but eviction still imminent
the fields may yet be saved- the council are starting to compromise but at present still intend to destroy more than half the site already though their partial climbdown is a victory for direct action
our eviction from Treecamp still impending
whatever else is saved, the council are determined to build the road where our camp is- they said in a glossy handout to locals that it is to be built "at the earliest opportunity"
-ie anytime after this meeting!!! They want it FINISHED BY SEPTEMBER We are expecting them to arrive in the next few days
