Derby - planning for real day, 27 July
Mill Fleam road protest
Just to update you all on the latest from Bass rec.
The planning for real day will take place at the Royal Banqueting suite. Victoria street, Derby, from 10am-4pm.
The council have sadly declined there invitation, as have the planning Department. The reasoning behind this being, they felt it had not been organised properly and we had not consulted with other interest groups widely enough.
Whilst we have had endorsement from the neighbourhood initiatives organisation, whom I asked for help in organising the event. They said I had it all under control, so there was no need for there involvement! As for not being consulted, now the council knows what it feels like. Not nice he boys?
We are still looking for volunteers in specific areas to help out on the panel. So if you have a solid knowledge of sustainable development or the planning system and would like to take part, please feel free to e-mail me at the above address.
