Cool Parents at Greenwood Camp A38

It is very unnerving when you ring home from university and find that both your parents are involved in the Road Protest that you supported over Easter. This happened to me yesterday when I eventually 'had' to contact them for some more cash.

Although they were not against myself being involved in the protest but they did not seem too keen on climbing trees for days on end themselves!

They are not exactly living there but they are bringing in supplies on a regular basis and offering great support.

It just shows that parents can actually be quite cool on the odd occasion. It is also a breakthrough in the realms of local support as they are telling their friends and friends of friends can then get involved and so on, we can only hope that the support is constant.

The camp involved is: Anti Birmingham Northern Relief Road (BNRR) Protest at Greenwood Camp on the A38 between Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield.

Help is always needed and my parents would probably like some company!
