Road Block conference - 27th October 2007

Dear transport campaigners This is just to remind you that the 2007 Road Block conference is fast approaching (27 Oct) and the programme and list of speakers this year is looking fantastic – including communications experts, funders, and climate change experts (including author George Monbiot). I am writing to encourage you to book your places now as there are still some left and the closing date is Monday 22 Oct.

This is a unique opportunity to meet other campaigners from around the country and pick up a lot of useful information on running successful campaigns – there will be sessions on Winning the Arguments, Fundraising, Communicating Successfully, Alternatives and Solutions, Using the Law and much more! Please pass this around your campaign groups and networks. Apologies if you have already booked.

It is in Birmingham, so should be easy to get to, and starts at 11am.

To find out more and to book your place see http://www.bettertransport.org.uk and email roadsconference@bettertransport.org.uk

Hope to see you there!
